Make Your Own Calendar 2024
Neither I nor everyone is blessed with multiple talents. However, today’s world situation demands skills in several subjects to live at the leading edge of competition. One should be an expert in his core subject as a salesman, like it can be biotechnology, electronics, structural materials, computer or mobile etc but should have reasonable knowledge on peripheral subjects which may help him/her to do his job in the quickest manner and more efficiently. And it is not difficult to develop skills in those subjects cutting some time people waste on social media or movies. Entertainment is important but should not compromise self-development. On the contrary, if someone has a passion for these required subjects (like learning Excel, Apps, Software operation & applications) then self-development devotion can be one of the best entertainment.
Example:
Examples help to digest. So, here I am showing you how I could make this calendar by spending 15 minutes using a free application and not applying my knowledge on Abode, PageMaker or any other high-end paid services.
Software/ Apps
I used CANVA. You can work on Canva online or download it on your desktop. The free version is enough to do whatever you want as a hobbyist.
Photographs
Keep your photographs ready which you want to use. I used my own paintings. However, you can download copyright-free pictures free of cost from many sites as well as available in Canva app itself. However, I suggest, you use your family pictures like your kids, son, daughter, wife, parents, family joint photos, festival pictures or nature pictures you shoot on your mobile phone during your travel, to create a family / personal calendar.
As shown in the Canva desktop screenshot, Go to ‘Design’ then use a ‘Template’ of your choice and use the ‘Upload’ to upload your pictures and position in the right place. That is all!
Edit text
Also, you can write/edit the texts, which means I added 2024 on the month name, and you can add a logo or text as your company name. You can edit the dates to mark holidays with different colours and text.
Complete it
Keep on adding pages. Repeat the same.
Add all these 12 months to make a large wall calendar or separate 12 prints for a desktop calendar of your choice.
Is it that simple? Yes, it is. You may face some teething problems but practice for an hour and then it will be very simple, simpler than the PowerPoint presentation you make for your office use.
Hain na simple!
